Malyssa BellaRosa is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Providence, RI who writes heartfelt, original songs. The passion in which she writes and performs music is  honest and unbridled.   Her powerful, soulful and dynamic vocals are consistent in all of her projects and have led her to be awarded the2021 and 2018 Motif Music Award for Female Vocalist (Alternative) category and nominated in 2011-2017 & 2019.  Malyssa released her second solo album "Affinity" on 4/20/20 with an early sneak-peak on 4/11/20 here.  Her first solo album "Open Up" was released in October of 2011.

Malyssa is the singer/songwriter/guitarist for  "Sugar Cones"  This power trio released their first album in February of 2018 and  recently released.  Sugar Cones have been blazing through the New England Music Scene nominated for numerous music awards, winning some and just being thrilled to perform and share music.  Alyson Hammond on drums and Jeff Sullivan on bass give serious power to Malyssa's compositions.  As they hone their sound - they are working writing songs as a group as well.

Sugar Cones  released their second album "Road Soda' on 11/13/20 and has received a very favorable response.

Sugar Cones has added a lead guitarist - the talented Adam Newell.  They are now working as a 4-piece and will begin recording their 4th album 2024!

Malyssa is also the lead singer and lyricist for rock project GAMMA RAGE in which she shows tremendous vocal strength and  range .  The original compositions of Gamma Rage lean to the heavier side of rock n roll (think Black Sabbath, Queens of The Stone Age, etc) Gamma Range is currently finishing up their full length album to be dropped 2024.  Review of the 2021 Single "Scorcher"
