the Sugar Cones: As the front woman of the the Sugar Cones, Malyssa channels her garage rock roots through a genre-bending kaleidoscope of power pop punk, blues, grunge, and soul. Since their debut in February 2018, Sugar Cones have been tearing up the New England music scene with their dynamic live shows and infectious energy. With Alyson Hammond on drums and Jeff Sullivan on bass, the band’s explosive chemistry propels Malyssa’s compositions and their collaborative songs into uncharted territories. Their second album, “Road Soda,” unleashed on 11/13/20, has been met with rave reviews and high-octane performances.
Gamma Rage: Gamma Rage draws inspiration from legends like Black Sabbath, Siouxie and the Banshees, Queens of the Stone Age among many others, Gamma Rage's music is a relentless force. Their put out their eponymous album 9/13/24 and recieved rave reviews. This album contains songs like "Gloom", "SCP 3000," and a cover/remake of Portishead's "Glory Box" among other powerful tracks. The band is currently on hold and the future is uncertain.
